yay for beginning of the end
i can't remember if i've mentioned this before, but the boy makes up signs. to make matters worse, he gets mad at us for not understanding these brand-new signs. quite often cam and i end up doing this funny little pantomime over paul's head:
me: [raised eyebrow, pointing at paul]
cam: [expectant face]
me: [copying heretofore un-invented sign]
cam: [universal wtf? face, shrug]
me: [shrug]
me: [to paul] hey, want to watch blue's clues?
sometimes we'll get it right. usually we get it wrong and are smacked for our pains. hopefully with his verbal skills finally starting to take off we won't have this problem so often anymore.
