big boy bed
against my better judgment, i have kind of fallen in love with the idea of a bunk bed for paul's big boy bed. we just got back from ikea and there's one there that i just am so pleased with. it's short, maybe an inch or so taller than i am. paul can climb into the bottom bunk all by himself. we can turn the ladder side against the wall (and not put in the steps) so he won't be able to get to the top. which means... the top can be storage until he's old enough to go up there. storage... blessed storage...
the bed is unfinished and it's cheap, so i can paint it without too much in the way of qualms. i'm getting kind of excited by this. god, just what i need, another project.
