dump truck
about a week or two ago, paul saw a garbage truck in action.
now all he wants to talk about is the "grabage. 'ruck." he and his father play a funny game where he stands in front of cam (pretending to be a trash can) and cam (as truck) picks him up and slowly lifts him up over his head. then paul says, "dump. [pause] back down" and cam lowers him to the floor. they have to do this at least two, sometimes three times in a row -- for each trash can, you know. once in a while paul will even specify type (green for grass clippings and tree branches, black for trash and blue for recycling).
occasionally paul will pretend to be the truck, too (not picking up cam, mind you, just small things like a shoe or a block or if nothing is handy, nothing at all).
do toddler girls get this excited about garbage trucks or is this a boy thing?
