paul likes to tell stories. they all have to start with "one day." if i make up a story, i have to start it with "one day" or he'll correct me.
me: once upon a time.
paul: no. one day.
me: one day there was a raccoon in the backyard.
me: he thought he was sneaky, going into the backyard when no one else was there.
me: but then he ran past a scarecrow... and bam! the scarecrow spit in his face.
me: the end.
paul: more.
