we were watching "cars" last night (very punny movie, by the way).
rascal flatts' cover of "life is a highway" started to play. didn't know who it was at the time, so i wondered aloud.
me: who is singing?
paul: just some guy who wrote the song for the movie.
me: oh. okay.
really, that's what i deserved for asking paul about a song that became famous over a decade before he was born. it is, as much as it pains me to say this, OLD.
