people who apparently feel i’m not worthy of a thank-you card or any other personal response to a gift. i know i’ve been a total thank-you-card nazi since paul was born, but i find it extremely disrespectful when gifts are not even acknowledged. thank the giver in person when possible. if not, dash off a quick email. (i’m no miss manners, i won’t tell your mom you lack social skills.) call and thank the giver over the phone – that seems easy enough.
cam says that i can only give gifts to certain people when they give a gift to me. it’s sort of like the christmas card list-whittling process. you get a card, you send a card. if you’re one of those certain people, well, you’ve earned it.

that damn car-cart he likes to ride. it’s so heavy and extremely hard to steer. and as much as paul likes the stupid thing, he won’t sit it in for very long, so one of us ends up carrying (or chasing) him while the other pushes the cart. when it’s my turn to push the cart, i sometimes feel like i’m pushing a real car around, it’s that heavy.

neutrogena norwegian formula body moisturizer for dry rough skin – the consistency of the lotion is a little bit lighter than the other one, which isn’t a big deal, but it’s the smell that makes me wish i hadn’t bought this. now that i’m thinking about (and smelling) this, i realize it smells really similar to demeter’s gin & tonic. i have a bottle of that and i like it, but i don’t want to smell like that all the time. but really, i’m just a little irritated because 1) i can’t wear my regular fragrance (marc jacobs) and 2) i didn’t realize i had grabbed the wrong bottle until i got home. damn target and their recent rearranging of the toiletries aisles. carson employees, are you listening to me?
